The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors has scheduled two cannabis related items for the meeting of Tuesday July 7, 2020. First, they will hold a public hearing to adopt Commercial Cannabis License Background Investigation Fees. Then, they will have a discussion item to introduce and waive reading of an Ordinance adding San Joaquin County Code of Ordinance Chapter 4 of Division 4 of Title 3 to impose a special tax on Commercial Cannabis Businesses in the unincorporated County. If the ordinance is approved, it will be agendized for adoption on July 21, 2020.
